Craig was born in Sheffield but has lived in the West Midlands and North Wales before settling in County Durham.

He began his art career as a cartoonist for pre-school comics, then moved into computer games as a character designer, before becoming a freelance sculptor in 1996.

Childhood memories feature heavily in Craig's work but new themes are always bound to emerge as Craig continues to create, in the words of Ian Dury.... "Eyeball Pleasers".
