Artists » Damien Hirst
Born in 1965 in Bristol, Damien Hirst needs little or no introduction.
He rose to fame in the 1990s as a leading member of the 'Young British Artists', winning the Turner Prize in 1995 with 'Mother and Child Divided'; a bisected calf and cow suspended in fomaldehyd.
Controversy often surrounds his work, but this has helped pieces such us 'For the Love of God' sell for a reported £50 million.
At Gallerina we are proud and excited to house an everchanging collection of his works.
